Hi there! I'm Jo, and I love eating (in general) but in particular, healthy plantbased food.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my site and get to know me a little better - I look forward to getting to know you too.
I'm a mum of two, juggling family, whilst trying to eat healthy food, exercise, and indulge in my growing passion for food and photography. With the support of my family, I recently left behind my 20-year corporate career to focus on food blogging full time.
I started my healthy eating journey about five years ago, after years of yoyo dieting, teenage eating disorders, fear of food, eating poorly and exercising sporadically. After doing a lot of reading, and wanting to find a 'diet' I could stick to, and not wanting to survive on just a lettuce leaf. I came across Clean Eating. It seemed pretty simple - cut out as much processed junk as possible, including refined sugar, and just focus on eating wholefoods, including lots of lean protein, vegetables, good fats and healthy carbs.
This worked very well, and in conjunction with some regular resistance exercise, the weight just dropped off, and I got the muscle tone I was after.
As my journey continued, and my tastes and knowledge of the world changed, I discovered the plantbased lifestyle, and a whole new world of food and wonderful flavours.
I'm still learning, creating and changing. I hope you enjoy taking this journey with me...
