Protein Tropical Superfood Power Bowl



A Protein Tropical Superfood Power Bowl, Fuelling this happy Friday. I cooked up some oats with almond milk, coconut water, fresh pineapple, zucchini (you can't taste it), natural sweetener and my Organic Vegan Protein Superfood powder by Yoga Food

If you are new to, or don't like superfood or greens powders, I recommend the addition of pineapple, apple, pear or banana, where the sweetness of the fruit balances out the greens. Then as your taste buds change, you can start lowering the fruit content and maybe increase the veggies

Also, another tip with any protein or superfood powders is to not add them to really hot foods, as this can destroy the nutritional value and sometimes even curdle. So ensure your recipe is either cold, or cooled to below 45C to keep it in the Raw category, before adding any powders, and maintain the integrity of the nutrients

I topped my bowl with toasted coconut flakes, fresh pineapple, fig, raspberries and Zespri Kiwi Fruit, which are a gorgeous gold colour 💛💛 I hope you all have a fabulous weekend!

Protein Tropical Superfood Power Bowl

(Serves 1)

1/2 cup oats

1/2 cup coconut water (more as required)

1/2 cup almond milk

2 Tbsp Protein Superfood Greens Powder (or 1 serve) YogaFood

1 cup pineapple diced or blended

1/2 zucchini grated

Natural sweetener to taste

Cook oats with liquid, zucchini and pineapple

Once cooled stir through your superfood powder

Top with fruit as desired Enjoy!
